Someone I like and greatly respect made, elseweb, an #EtymologicalFallacy argument claiming that the NYTimes isn't a right-wing organ because they published that "Don't Vote" piece.

On July 4th.

Gonna be a lot of fence-mending needing done after this election. IF we win.

That seems likely. As for me, when I'm hunting for a ringing object or trying to turn one off in a dream, it almost always turns out to be my alarm clock going off in the depths of my REM cycle.

I do make a tofu pate at Thanksgiving (it's too labor-intensive to make often). It's quite savory and stands up in a little "cake." There is, however, no recipe. Or maybe a medieval recipe full of instructions like "add plenteous garlic" and "chill until it be enough."
