It is a moving ceremony, for sure. Although I was not asked that question at my interview. I clearly remember the questions, most of which to my delight were about voting rights amendments!

As someone who was born in Canada, I have always felt both inspired and humbled by people born elsewhere who chose to come to a nation they thought they could succeed in and work incredibly hard to become citizens, something I achieved simply by accident of birth. We can learn so much.
