Why stick with a bald eagle when you can go with a patriotic marbled shrimp? Check out the stars and stripes on that tail! These shrimp have a wild variety of color and patterns, this one was pretty unique. Off Ulua beach a few years ago. (Saron marmoratus) π·πΏπ

The shrimp are fairly common, but this color pattern isn't. I'm not sure if anyone eats them, they're pretty small and don't free swim in schools or anything. More pretty colors in my shrimp gallery here: www.myhawaiianimages.com/Home2/Diving...
