Just cancelled my subscription, have been on the fence because their geopolitical coverage has always been good, and their biases clear enough to adjust for in my head. But this is at best irresponsible, and at worst… ratfucking.

Presumably, the Economist views being old and not fully able physically as worse than being a convicted criminal, fraudster, failed businessman, conman, racist bigot, and sex offender.
One of the presidents who accomplished the most for poor people in this country was confined to a wheelchair. His administration overcame the Great Depression, instituted Social Security, and saved the nation from fascism.
