As a retiree who colors her hair in bright colors and wears nerdy t shirts that I love I totally agree. Hell, if you don't have much money, look at thrift stores for nerdy shirts. I've gotten a couple oldies from them.

We did exactly that. Elder cat with a y/o rescue & she didn't want anything to do with him. So we had an upstairs cat & downstairs. He sat at the stairs and cried for her. After a year got another, 8 months and he gets along with both, easily jumping the gate that separates them. We were lucky.
