In Iceland we have a word for feeling really guilty for staying inside on a sunny day, because they are so rare and precious. We call it "sólviskubit" and it sounds a lot like "samviskubit" which means having a guilty conscious.
And I am suffering from a sólviskubit right now.

If it's anywhere near as hot as it is here 99°F(37°C) I would say don't feel guilty.

We need that to be a common word here in Oregon. Don’t need it today since it’s a drizzly June day.

Totally fine with staying indoors on a sunny day. Less sure about a sunny evening.

Moved from Phoenix to Virginia and I feel that all summer. But, opposite I guess? Not lethally hot outside so I should be out doing something.

You can also have a "mammviskubit", which means feeling guilty for not being a good enough mother. I get those too.

Have that guilt in Minnesota too.
Is there a related word for the resentment of having to be indoors on a sunny day for work or appointments?
