I bought the Shark HV301 Rocket Ultra-Light Corded Bagless, but that is because I have shoulder injuries. Works well on a short napped rug in between cleaning people sessions. I think cordless would be easier to empty, but the corded version has some oomph.

That's great - please help us win this one. I'm actually not grossly upset after the debate - they rarely sway undecided voters this far out anyway. I'm upset the GOP understands Trump is their best shot to enact Project 2025, and there are still undecided voters.

On the way up to my neighborhood grocery store, I encountered a man lying in the middle of the sidewalk. People just stepping over him. I asked if he was okay, got a vague wave, and then got the cop in the grocery store 250 ft away to take a look at him...

The Mississippi River flooding has crested in St. Paul today! For reference, it was at a more usual 9 feet back at the beginning of the month - now it's at 20. Also note how the path system very clearly visible in the satellite picture is gone.

I've been toddling down to the river every day - the side effect of being a former field geologist is this stuff just makes your day. I just came back from Upper Landing Park - it is very, very flooded. City House had to close this week, and it's in the middle of a pond today.

St. Paul Flooding watchers - the water gauge at the base of the Robert Street Bridge has a camera, and the USGS updates pictures hourly! They even have the past five days assembled as a video so you can watch the creep of the water.

The biggest mistake we made when leaving Eau Claire was trusting the realtor who ASSURED US multiple times that what people were looking for was an empty house in our price range. It finally sold when I was about to demand he pay for staging it, because clearly that wasn't what people looked for.

CNN learned not one f*cking thing from 2016...except that Trump pulls in ratings. The way they aired his rallies in their entirety always frosted me, and I guess they're not actually turning off mikes like they promised. Makes for better ratings and drives traffic for their clips.
