I hope you can recover from the fire and I'm so relieved your lovely cat survived. I really enjoy seeing the stuff you post when I check in here. You share amazing images. Social media can be a curse at times, but there are more good people here than bad. Look after yourself & enjoy your cat.

Most of the rich flora here, including the kidney saxifrage + dog violet, is epiphytic, growing on a tree trunk. This is rainforest. 🌎

Impressive work as eve. But not liking the far right gaining ground here. Esp in Dublin. Was not happy receiving (through the post) election flyers from them. Plus the money involved in all that production. Disheartening all round.

Have tried slowly introducing more wet food, to see if that helps. But its a slow process till it makes a difference. It's not fleas or ticks for sure. I was impressed with your blue body sock. As the constant scratching is the most destructive aspect to her poor skin.

I am at my end with this cat. The Irish vets (including a specialist cat dermatologist) has no fucking clue. I feel bad for her, but I also know that her being the dumbest creature alive does not help the situation. Every thing that I have done fails after a relatively short period. UGH.

I have a favor to ask bsky: Does anyone have familiarity with cat allergies, and particularly, persistent cat allergies that aren't completely diet related? My 1.5 braincell cat has allergies to ... something. Partly diet, and she was improving, but now she's reverting. Irish vets are terrible.

My long haired tuxedo has this every year when the weather warms up. Part food allergy as well, but something else too. All vets I've consulted came up blank too. They tried shots, food change, pills... She's suffering badly at the mo. My cat picks up on my stress too, so that doesn't help.

After dinner we hiked up until we were about 12m higher than Carauntoohill. To 1050m.

Not even close to leaving the tree line. Lots of oaks along the way.
