Every new story about the Cybertruck reaffirms my belief that they were created purely as a meme and never intended to survive in the wild

Musk got backed into a corner and his ego wasn't going to let him lose.

I know this isn't a difficult conclusion for anyone to reach but the windshield wiper thing, man. Not only does it break because of how far that massive blade has to travel with each wipe, but the software says it's "normal" for it to stop for 30 seconds sometimes? Excuse me?

I mean, Elon Musk didn't get rich because he actually releases or completes things. I think he gets mad when he's legally forced to do so

I’m almost certain that Tesla engineers realized this couldn’t be done, but no one could tell Elon no and eventually they had to produce SOMETHING. Fuck it, may as well ship it and it’s someone else’s problem.

It’s pretty simple. Elon is an idiot who’s convinced himself he’s a genius.

The problem is that their creator has too much money and keeps accidentally making his memes real

The fact that they touted it as being "indestructible" and dumbass threw a baseball through the windshield first time they showed it, stood there with a dumbass look on his face AND PEOPLE STILL BOUGHT IT! It's sort of hard to feel bad for people at some point.
