that doesn’t mean it’s always harmful as a rule but I think it’s something that is good to consider. Of course, at that age everybody who told me to watch out regarding the age gap I argued to death that I was grown. Now as I approach the age he was then, I can see they were looking out.

I personally often think my life would have turned out a lot better/ I would’ve been happier/healthier had the 34 year old who derailed it when I was 20 only to discard me a year later simply not gotten involved and left me the fuck alone but eh massive YMMV imbalance of power/experience is real
