My only modification of this would be to change section 1 to guarantee that the president may be prosecuted for breaking a law. Section 1 just is too vague in the same way that vagueness got us into this situation.

But at least the Democratic Party is likely to not be completely obstructionist in attempting to pass the reforms our nation desperately needs. This is such a low bar. And I have no faith that a majority of the current politicians will manage to clear it.

Which means that in the face of voter suppression, in the face of nihilism, and potentially in the face of violence, we need to elect politicians who will actually act to safeguard our democracy. And that is not anybody wearing a red tie. It's not even most of the people wearing a blue one either...

The entire court needs to be impeached and removed. The bench's reputation is destroyed, and any remnants of this court will taint any credibility of a future court. There needs to be heavy reform passed through Congress putting limits on the scope of the judiciary's power.

At this point, the Supreme Court has completely lost all credibility. In the last year alone, its reputation has gone from at best a mixed bag to completely worthless. Despite the valiant effort of a small group of people on the court who still somehow have a moral compass...

I am at a complete loss as to how to react to the last week and a half of Supreme Court decisions. I want to yell. I want to rage. And I really just want to break something... I want President Biden to do something outrageous enough to make the most recent ruling so wrong that it gets reversed....

As much as I don't want to impeach Sotomayor and Kagan, I honestly think you just need to file articles of impeachment against the entire court. Remove all of them, start from scratch. The entire bench is tainted by this court. They all need to go.

The WHO recommends a temperature of 27C/81F for indoor dwellings. If you read the WaPo article you will notice that 89f only showed 11% savings in a year.

Also the solution is totally to "just set your AC a few degrees warmer" and not to stop approving new oil and gas projects instead of clean energy solutions like solar, wind, and nuclear. Nope, climate change is absolutely the fault of the average consumer, not the multi billion dollar companies.
