They ran the health scare thing last time and it along with butter emails worked. Later some asked if the press learned anything from 2016 and they shrugged and seemed to hope we'd memory hole the whole thing. So they could do it again and call it journalism.

I remember this. I never forgot. I'm still so angry at the media for just shrugging it off, never drawing any lines between data points, and I've seen them continue to pretend that they're serious news people while they peddle misleading stories and launder outright lies on Rs behalf.

I'm a little annoyed at past me for packing away my art supplies a couple of months ago. I thought we were moving soon but found a couple spare months tucked behind the couch. I don't want to unpack because we're probably still going to have to leave next month but I miss the inks.

I actually do think we have the numbers in all of the right places to win, despite it all. I'm more worried that certain states who have signaled that they'll pick electors no matter how their people vote will actually do that. And those states will throw the election and it will be legal enough.

Don't argue with people who think voting is pointless, or that society should burn. They're either bad actors or not reachable right now. They're either too depressed or bought the lie. Focus on people who want actionable things to do. Mute and block the others online.
