FL is not really a safe Trump state! It's very purple. Statewide Rs have won by fractions of a percent within the last decade, including Sen Scott and DeSantis's first election. Turnout can make a huge difference here.

My fear? States that will keep a late entrant D nominee off the ballot. I'm in Florida. Ya think DeSaster wouldn't JUMP at the opportunity to guarantee those EVs for Trump? There is no D name polling higher than Biden against Trump at the moment.

Maybe? I do know the exchange rate is as good (high dollar) as it's been in decades, and definitely higher this summer than last. It was briefly in the '90s under 71 cents to the CAD; today it's under 74.

Here's my cringe art: I play with a pro-level jazz big band where I'm preeeetty sure I'm the poorest musician (with the possible exception of the guy whose band it is and who signs the checks), but I SHOW UP (which is why they keep calling me) and play to my best ability and I have a fantastic time.
