Bluesky open talk, art gang chime in! For me, even 'silly' comments are very welcome! I might not reply every time, because what do I say to '💗' (and even then I will often leave an emoji in return, still). But I TREASURE them. It lets me know actual people perceived me, and they liked what I did.

This is a subtweet about Frankenstein because I don't want to be a dick, but I also want some facts out there. 1. Most novels at the time were anonymous. We can't make definite judgements about why Mary Shelley's name wasn't on it. It was common practice. The novel was barely respectable. 1/?

I’ve been very lucky to see beluga in the Churchill river a number of times, but I’ve never seen anything quite like this. There are a few hundred whales here churning up the water, herding capelin into a bait ball to feed. It was incredible! 🌿🐳youtu.be/sgM21bM0wd8?si=QDNac_tw5hYbmFsm

Look at this gorgeousness I saw today! There were at least 6 pairs of damselflies mating together at my local creek. I adore this shade of blue and it was so cool to see that many together! It's #DamselflyJuly!!
