When I worked at as a barista, a woman came in and asked for her coffee to be "extra hot". By law, we were only able allowed to go up to 192°, so I made it as hot as we could. When I handed the scalding cup to her, she demanded it hotter. When I couldn't, she tried to dump it on my head.

I am mildly inconvenienced so let me try and permanently maim a service worker. Also if she always drinks her coffee that hot she is most likely to develop throat cancer.

had a regular who demanded fresh decaf. that’s fine. i drink decaf too; most places don’t have fresh & you can really taste the diff. i made a pot for her when i saw her park, but she dawdled outside & didn’t believe it was fresh. she poured it in my boots. i blistered. still had to finish my shift.
