Can't stop thinking about the buckling of centrist parties under the pressure of the anti-trans crucible. Not because they believe differently now but because they can't handle pressure. They cosplayed allyship for years, and it never occurred to them that they might have to actually do something.

The crisis of trans youth mental health right now is occurring not because it is an inevitable aspect of the trans experience but that for the first time, a generation has grown up seeing what could have been— only to have it violently taken away in only about 5 years.

centrists use the vulnerable like poker chips when things are going well for them and a bag of traction gravel you carry in your trunk for winter conditions when they get panicky they don't do ride or die, it's all sacrificial pawn vibes to keep themselves safe
