I still say people there are suffering from a kind of phantom limb syndrome where they still think they've got the reach they had under the old system. But every time I peek over there, it amazes me at how shitty it's become. Not just more awful people, but the site itself is buggy.

AI and controls on immigration? Blair’s formula for growth and low taxes. Well, the one doesn’t work and the other is playing on Farage’s territory. Without education about how money & the economy really work and about how immigration is needed to keep Britain afloat, we are screwed.

Sorry to leave this hanging. I haven’t hear that one and will check it out. My two most hated are Sinead O’Connor singing BoneyM’s ‘By the Rivers of Babylon’ as an appalling dirge & Shirley Bassey singing ‘We don’t need another hero’ in her style, which compares badly against that of Tina Turner.

One of the more tedious aspects of TV coverage was the use of honorifics for ex-politicians, Lord this, Baroness that, Sir the other. A devalued currency beforehand—OBE anyone?—which is now more a badge of shame accepted by the corrupt and the easily impressed.
