They had the same with me. Basically they only worked out I was bipolar because of the way I reacted to antidepressants without mood stabilisers. Also same regarding ASD, but working in software development means I’m in an environment that is quite used to people like me.

Also transparent and efficient processes. Low or no costs. Clear illustration of decisions and a fair appeals process with a realistic pathway to residence and citizenship . Humane and timely decision making. Basically, everything it isn’t.

I know we'll be disappointed, but it reminds me of 1997. I was two when Thatcher was elected and hadn't know anything but Tory governments right up to three weeks before my 21st birthday. 1997 was also the first general election that I could vote in.

Genuinely pissed off at Labour for campaigning really hard in my constituency in the last week with a campaign solely against Lib Dems. They came third, but managed to take just enough seats away to ensure a Tory victory.

Wine Society is something you should definitely join if you live in the U.K (know you don’t). Consistently rated the best wine seller. I like Bordeaux, especially Côte de Bordeaux and Côte de Castillon, where there’s some interesting stuff. I just wanted a dry red with structure, and it’s cheap.

Oh yes, sorry! Representation of the People Act has lots of restrictions on advertising, voting, etc. Hence voting day is surprisingly muted until the polls close at 5PM ET, when it goes mad. It’s why the U.K. news sites end up covering dogs at polling stations.
