It's just hilariously disingenuous. Imagine looking at, say, ALL OF HUMAN HISTORY and concluding that the biggest threat to liberty isn't abuse of power, but powerful people refraining from sufficiently wielding their authority out of fear that they might one day be held accountable.

I believe that Biden is not able to wage a campaign against Trump and therefore should step down as the 2024 nominee. I believe that Biden would continue to be a great president, but the battles he will face in his bid for a second term are too much.

Bump stocks increase an AR-15's rate of fire from 180 rounds per minute to 400-800 rounds per minute. They inflict mass carnage by allowing the gunman to shoot automatically, without pulling the trigger. Yet the Supreme Court declares that they do not create a "machinegun."
