Maybe the only thing more absurd than the rightโs self-radicalization via facebook is that Democrats think that the more deranged their opposition becomes, the more important comity and collaboration become because they think this makes them look better to hypothetical voters they 100% made up

Pretty clear that the Federalist Society project to take over the courts for the far right is the most successful and consequential political effort in history. Only took them a few decades. Meanwhile, Dems are like "Let's not be hasty, blue slips serve an important function in preserving comity."

I'm glad to see people panicking after Biden's performance. This is why there should have never been a precedent of being unable to challenge an incumbent. If you truly believed Trump was an existential threat to this failing democracy you wouldn't have ever nominated Biden.
