As an American man who married a Canadian woman in 2004 I did not assume this. In fact I engaged an attorney and followed the established procedure in place at that time. Happy for those positively impacted by this ruling, but there are lots of people out there like me who followed the rules.

We literally now know how to stop all airborne disease, in ways that are stupidly affordable. Decent HEPA filters would get rid not only of covid, not only of bird flu, but of SARS, MERS, all strains of the flu, the common cold, RSV, norovirus... it's cheap and easy to do.
