"Roar" was filmed near the Gold Coast, & var. friends were extras. The director would have Ledger flail about wildly in the fight scenes, but no-one had thought it appropriate to train him. When he lifted the scalp (part thereof) of a stuntwoman it became a 'bridge too far' for some of the others.

I’ve been amazed at how intrusive they’ve become lately. We’ve had them in our yard in Newtown several times these past 2 years. Never saw them in this part of the world until now. They’re cheeky buggers too.

Same same. It’s not hard: either of these people could just get their EA to go through their calendar and find every event they’d spoken at and declare “gift refused” on it. Lesser people don’t have EAs of course, but they’re not offered gifts as often.

Day 17 is a *very* long time. I hope you recover soon. Has your Dr said anything about why it’s taking so long to feel better? Are you on antivirals? (I reckon you never feel quite back to normal after Covid - it nearly killed me. But I was feeling much, much better by day 17).

That’s true except it’s not useful to report it. Because if you’re persistently declining it’s not exactly evidence of a problem. Nobody is going to muster the regulatory flex to investigate repeated refusals - Senators would do them at Estimates for squandering resources.
