I use Gmail. I don't see messages like this at all because they go directly to my spam box. Idk what email service you use but it might have a feature like spam/junk as well, which would keep you from being exposed to this. I mentioned Gmail initially because Google does a very good job filtering.

Let's be clear, when mayors say they want to ban masks for "safety", they couldn't care less about public safety. What the mean is they want to see faces for surveillance purposes. They care about criminalizing your right to protest not your health or safety.

When I bake cinnamon raisin bread, I want to freeze it, and I don't want the slices to stick together, so I put pieces of parchment paper between the slices before packing it in a freezer bag.

...a city street, because I didn't want them to be exposed to whatever is in those places. Shoes walk through that kind of stuff before coming into my house. So actually, it's rude of someone entering my house to refuse to let me keep my kids the level of clean/safe I want them to be.

When my kids were babies I asked everyone to remove their shoes. My babies were crawling around the floor in MY house and I didn't want them encountering whatever is outside and being walked through prior to them arriving. I didn't let my babies crawl in a litter box and wouldn't let them crawl on..

That is such a clear explanation! I can hear it in my head now. Thank you! It was close to how I imagined it, too. All the "aa"s were confusing though, I wasn't sure if it were a new "ahhh" or "aaah" sound or a broken up "a" then "a" again.

I was just - certain that under that no gender was female somehow. I know Murderbot was super clear about *no gender* but it felt female to me despite that. Perhaps my mind isn't big enough to encompass the idea of no gender at all and not being male means female to me.
