I'd rather just like see games be played even if it means emulating. Stuff shouldn't just sit in a closet till the end of time.

I played a lot of games in their day and outside of pristine hardware you are gonna be better of emulating 99% of the time. The fight against getting a legit nes cart to work is thankfully a thing of the past.

People who do Emulation and Abandonware care more about older games than the companies who made them. Companies are even remaking games to replace the originals(I'm looking at you Rockstar) while others are refusing to re-release games due to various reasons.
