In a webinar about grace in the workplace and it’s a little tone deaf and surface level. Does your staff feel unappreciated or are they overworked and underpaid? A chocolate box, a thank you sticky note, or work grace journal is not going to fix that.

Husband and I eating dinner while Wheel of Fortune is on and in the final round the contestant guesses “as big as a horse”. The answer was obviously “as big as a house”. I shout out “who says as big as a horse?‽” only to see it was one of my coworkers at the time. 🤣

Also academic libraries don’t have magazines for you to cut up. If we have magazines and journals in print it’s because there is no electronic access to them and we need them for preservation purposes. We don’t just keep shit around for no reason.

Yknow what? Everyone is new at some point. If you make them feel bad for not knowing something, some people think oh, imposter syndrome. I’m not supposed to be in this role. Me? I think it looks bad on the person doing the scolding. Have a little empathy and understanding. We all deserve that.
