Also the first person I’ve ever heard suggest Yorkshire is not in the North of England, given wiki lists 23 Roman villas there

Morning Womble hope all’s well! Currently reading Wolfsbans by Guy Haley. Now onto the last handful of the Horus Heresy series - it’s been generally good space war, with some real highs

"How long have you been here?" She asked the lightship pilot. "Longer than I can remember." "How long will you stay?" "Until they return." She glanced at the blackhole. "The chances of anyone escaping that are tiny." "But not nil." He said. "And if they do, then my light will guide them home"

First Minnesota’s action was in front of Cemetery Ridge. 20th Maine were on Little Round Top. Two different heroic, doomed, vital bayonet charges on 2 July. Plenty of valour to go round at Gettysburg.

It seems the USSC saw that line from Frost/Nixon and thought it was pretty neat, and not a horrendous statement of autocracy…

Closing on finishing Lion El’Johnson. I find this bit really cool - when you can see what the finish is going to look like, and it looks good!

It’s basically Hamlet with motorbikes. Young Prince, step father taken over the kingdom and the Queen, dad’s ghost in the background. More gun running in SoA than Hamlet

I’ve not taken much notice - I’ve thought of them as a bit wanky, appropriating punk while pumping out okay beer (which I don’t drink - I’m a West Country stereotype 😀). Having looked a bit wider now, I totally agree with your tower of pricks assessment

A manager had a staff member in such distress they were crying and couldn’t control their upset. So they sacked them. Whatever the reason that’s bloody awful management, but when it’s caused by a person being upset their workplace was hosting the EDL? Gonna have to find a new pub at Beachhead 25

My folks are trying to downsize. Someone looked and said they didn’t want to buy cos they didn’t like the wallpaper. Like, it’s wallpaper. You can take it off. Paint over it. Paper over it. Make an offer with a lower value taking that into account.

What better time than pride month to finally paint the centerpiece of my pride theme Sisters of Battle series, Celestine the living saint!

Quite a tricky mini to paint with how fiddly she is, but her wings are the perfect canvas for the rainbow flag.

I hope you like her.

I’m so bad at LARP puzzles that I literally watched my housemate make a puzzle, watched it solved and unsolved, then when we got in the field I just couldn’t work it out so had to overload it with magic by jumping on it and making it explode…

Amongst all the election stuff, Facebook is looking to use your data to train an AI. It is using “legitimate interest” under GDPR to do so. This is overruled by any objection- therefore you should go into the message from FB, object and say that you don’t want them to use your data. Mention GDPR.
