Paid $1700 for the entire CS5 suite in 2010 and have been using it ever since on my old beater of a desktop. I refuse to be nickled and dimed by these *ssholes. I feel bad for young designers having to pay subscriptions.

I truly miss the days of using CS3 up to CS5. Got officially certified and everything! Eventually tried CC and hated it. I “cancelled” by using one of those Debit card services where you can generate a digital card number with an empty account. Been using Affinity and never looked back.

I canceled mine a few months ago and got out of the cancellation fee by just repeatedly telling the chat agent that at no point had I been satisfied with the software and no I did not want more free time or discounts I wanted it GONE because it was WHOLLY DEFICIENT and UNFIT FOR PURPOSE!! AAAAAAAAAA
