Have you tried Strange New Worlds yet? I found it the more enjoyable of the two and felt like an updating of the original rather than a ground-up reworking. I enjoyed Discovery, though, just preferred SNW.

I finished season 4 last night, after much delay. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Love the cast, for sure. Great bunch, both the characters and (as I understand it) the actors too.

Been a fan of the franchise since day one. This is substandard and there are leaps of unexplained technology. Personally, the idea of propulsion in space is quite contrary to the way it will be done.
