That was WONDERFUL! Was reading while teaching at Moniack w Joanne and feeling grateful that i was not having to survive the wilderness but instead being fed cake on an hourly basis. Loved all the characters but Martha especially was beautifully drawn. Also: the message board!!! Perfect

"Rogue" was an instantly beloved episode of Doctor Who in our house. I put my hands over Ash's eyes at his request as one thing he doesn't like happened on screen. ("It's okay. They've finished kissing.") He's 8 when murder is brilliant but a kiss (whoever is doing the kissing) is just too weird.

I write letters. A lot of letters, cards and postcards. Roughly 200-250 per year since 2015. Not just to close friends, but colleagues, more distant folk, friends of friends, the occasional total stranger. I don't expect replies, though most do. There is, still, a place for ink and stamp on paper.

I've been in fandoms since I was about 22 so it's always been part of the world to me (Buffy fandom early 2000s). I met my wife on a buffy fanfic site so have a pro fandom bias!
