It's immensely fucked up that his first reaction was to try to discredit one of the victims and believe he did nothing with the one he employed. It's fucked up. There is no consent in that situation. He had power over her, as her employer, and abused it. Consent isn't "I don't want to be fired".

I don't know what you're referring to. If it's referring to him saying one of the victims suffers from a mental illness, there is no defending that. If you're referring to the fact he's saying his relationship with the less-than-half-his-age nanny was consensual there is no defending that either.

I miss some things about the old web. I do not miss table-based website layouts. I will say though, that during the 90's and early 2k, accessibility was on the rise and common practice for most developers. Ever since Web 2.0 it's been in steep decline, and that sucks.

There's this fascinating guy on Facebook who seems like a character conjured up for an SNL clip. He's honest, hard working, he doesn't care about maintaining appearance, he owns and shows off, as often as he can, his S class Mercedes and throws general insults when people don't like his pictures.

Just as a note, that was mostly a shitpost. I do think Democrats would be able to get more things done if they had a wider majority like that, but I expect so little from them at this point that I wouldn't be surprised if they floundered and wasted that opportunity somehow, as they have before.

The one thing we need to keep in mind when speaking about this situation is that whatever we may feel right now is miniscule compared to what the victims went through. Spending years, in the shadows, watching their abuser rise in power, and showered with praise. This simply isn't about us.

Many guilty nights have been spent feeling bad about the fact that sometimes I miss one of my abusers. No matter how much pain and misery I went through, I clung on to the few good feelings and moments I had, and lust for them with no regard for anything else. It sucks and it perpetuated my abuse.

Whatever we loved about these works we admire, is still valid. Even if the author did heinous things and don't wish to support them any longer, what we took and what we felt from their works is still true and it's something personal to us. We can still take that inspiration and use it for good.

Well... uh, I can think of one. From Software is owned by Kadokawa. Bandai Namco is their typical Publisher on Western Markets (though Activision published Sekiro). The closest we've ever gotten to a Gundam game is Zone of the Enders 1 and 2 in my opinion.
