Reminds me of an episode in the Pound Puppies animation, it was all about letting yourself use your imagination. No workshops, no infrastructure, just two puppies having fun. to quote Wheezer in the episode: "Your imagination is the best amusement park there is, and the admission is free."

the other thing about autistic people I'll just throw out is that while I definitely think it's true that we tend to be introverted, I also think it's the case that many of us are actually very outgoing when we feel we have "permission" to be, and a lot of autistic social withdrawal is caution-based

I'm realizing another hesitation to making my comic was me thinking I need to follow some formula for my comic.. I don't have to. I don't have to make the panel boarders perfect, as long as the story flow is told well. All this perfectionism needs to be purged from my mind

The time between the late 80s early 90s was rife with educational shows on PBS. I don't care that it made me a huge nerd in the eyes of my peers, I'd give anything to see kids experience the joy of being told it's okay to enjoy learning.

Learning more about my C-PTSD/ADHD/Autism has opened my eyes to the fact that my brain WILL ABSOLUTELY turn into an angry raisin when unfed and dehydrated, and that it was NEVER my fault that I was a kid that needed (but was never given) extra calories in order to function like a person.

Luckily paint thinner has an incredibly pungent odor. Unless you have issues with smelling things, you'd know right away if it was evil water the minute your face is near the glass.
