I've had one all my life and it scares me much less than Google. I suppose when you've always had one, you look at it more as part of being a citizen, something simple, useful and open. 🙂

It was just redeploying resources to winnable seats. I think it was a mistake - there’s a national duty to challenge the Far Right and stop it getting a foothold.

I still can't understand what the British opposition to a National ID card was. If you had one, ALL voters would be covered, and by the same type of card. Instead of the mess and the gaps we have now, that leave some without ID. I despair... 😖

Exactly this. It really, truly has been unrelentingly awful. It's been fourteen years of cruelty and since brexit it's just been a government hell bent on self enrichment. No sense of public service whatsoever. Absolutely unforgiveable.

In any other country if our last political leader had said 'Let the bodies pile high' and the current political leader had said 'just let people die' there would be some sort of outcry but here in Britain we just sit here accepting the fact that our leaders don't mind us dead.

I wish votes were stamped on passports. I would refuse entry to Spain to all "I voted Brexit". Horrid to have so many of them living in Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol, when their vote removed FoM from my husband.
