Been thinking a lot about democracy and what it means. Add to this the idea of freedom of speech and the implications when there are no holds barred. The chaos when systems breakdown … well we are witnessing the unprecedented decline of some of fundamental ideas in society today.

What shocks me is the implication that children are being impregnated and that a law needs to be passed to allow to the consequences. Has there been any discussion about child sex abuse or incest?

Fun Fact: The distance in time between Donald Trump's birth in 1946 and election day 2024 is the same distance between Donald Trump's birth and the impeachment of President Andrew Johnson. (Oh, and ratification of the 14th Amendment, Section 3 of which bars insurrectionists from office.)

SCOTUS thinks only Congress can disqualify Trump. Section 3 of the 14th Amendment does not say a supermajority of some kind is needed to disqualify. Hence a simple majority of each house of Congress is needed to disqualify. Ok. Guess what? Congress ALREADY did that.

Absolutely disgusting record being unearthed of the levels of negligence, lack of care and incompetence from Johnson and colleagues in the handling of Covid. This article doesn’t even mention the 10 days for half term that Johnson couldn’t be contacted as a virus exponentially increased pre lockdown
