I'd never heard of this before, guess that it isn't surprising since I'm Swedish but I try to keep at least somewhat in touch. I read some of this "Project 2025" literature and it's pretty concerning that they paint the events of Jan 6 as "misdemeanor trespassing". π

I thought I read "Gustav III", who was a very not-so-fun monarch, he brought back absolute rule to Sweden in a coup and was later assassinated. Made me happy to see Swedish history mentioned... but alas, my brain tricked me. Also - I love BLR, their Walking Dead and Trump vids are the best. :>

Late reply, sorry. x.x The hot tea worked pretty well but I'm not sure if I got the flavor from the fresh flowers or from the syrup I'd made before and added to it. I didn't let them steep much, there was definitely a floral flavor though. π§

I had never heard of "Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria" before, thanks for bringing that to my attention. Diagnosed with ADD (they still call it that in Sweden) and "non-specific personality disorder" like 4 yrs ago when I turned 30 and no one has even mentioned this RSD thing. Thanks for the info. β€οΈ

I've got a pretty big colony of black ants in my garden that keep several aphid "farms" on this red elderberry tree.
It's really interesting and cool to observe them partake in this mutually beneficial exchange. π§

Becoming so irrelevant that when Rome swept in across Hellas after the Battle of Corinth, it was basically a backwater tourist attraction. Their society was slow to adapt, built on slavery of a much larger population and a constant fear of revolt. Not great if you strive for longevity. x3x

A lot of these celebs are very much into pseudoscience/archaology and sadly a lot of folks are wired in such a way that anything said by a celebrity seems more truthful by default. I wish these people, like Terrence Howard and Graham Hancock, weren't given a platform to spread their nonsense.

I've been turning off features through altering Group Policy settings and going into Cmd ever since I got Win 10, can't even imagine what I'd have to deal with on Win 11. I love how they hide the stuff away too, so you need to dig through the entire system to turn off a useless setting. π

I really hope this AI thing turns out to be a fad... π I've heard that the majority of companies dabbling with AI are losing money on it and it hasn't exactly got a great reputation as-is so I really hope it'll just get snuffed out soon, like Google Glass or Tesla. π

This reminds me of my friend's ex-wife who kept taking and posting images of her 5-year-old daughter in the hospital while she was fighting for her life against leukemia. As well as the numerous parents I've seen with their eyes on their phones ignoring their kids. It really irks me to no end. π

It's lilac season, the flowers make a wonderful tasting tea or sugar syrup.
Here's my tea recipe: 40g flowers, 60g cane sugar (or lilac syrup) and 2 liters of water.
Boil the water, add flowers and sugar, boil 3-5 minutes, strain out the lilacs.
Have it either hot or cold. βΊοΈ
