They will not "come back" as long as Cora is in charge. They have needed to fire him for too long now. But, if the front office is happy with another abysmal season, this is what it will be. Sensing a trend. Especially in America.

I have never had the need or desire to rationalise something. You can't really know the things another person might be contending with in life until you walk a mile or more wearing THEIR glucose monitor. Let's hear it for Pumpkin in the winter and Key Lime in the summer!

I was 12 & living in FL @ the ⌚️. I was very first showing on opening day. There were *maybe* 3-4 other people in the theater. I went home & tried to swim in the apartment's pool. Nope. Not happenin'! I am almost sorry she has seen it already. It was a CRAZY scare for EVERYONE that summer! 😄

*chuckles* I am well aware. If you go on YouTube & look up some of his broadcast speeches (esp. during the 1968 campaign) they were crazy fun as well as being insane digs at the establishment. One of my favourite lines of his is, "I've upped my standards America; now up yours."

Still, when I look at our choices & the rapidly decaying society (& rapidly decaying environment), Ephesians 6:12 begins to become more clear w/ each passing day.

Just my personal opinion: anyone who is *truly* "metally fit" to do that job is also *so* fit that they know seeking that job would NOT be in the best interests of their mental health. I suspect that whatever we see running for office is probably the third string team @ BEST. It's probably worse.

@ the end of the day, everything will come out in the wash. People's lies, murders, attitudes, adulteries, hypocrisies, thefts, pride & general disobedience for the standards of a living God. A God who gets to make ALL of the rules & do as HE wishes. His judgment is ALWAYS just & true; despite man.

Forgive me SQ, but I would personally agree with Rachel's assessment. That was my first reaction that people pleasing is a reaction to trauma, not an attempt (even tacitly) to manipulate others. While I don't know your beliefs, I would suggest praying to God as ask Him to show you the real truth.
