Trans panic from the right wing is really more about othering trans folks than reducing "dangerous" medical procedures. Of the 151 breast reductions operations on minors, 146 were performed on cisgender males, and only 5 were on trans kids.

I appreciate your research, but it all still seems fuzzy. Lemon juice coagulates soybeans but that wouldn't be a problem in other things. It seems like anything made with white flour would come close to being ultraprocessed given how that's made.

I find the categorisation confusing. Pasta is not, but instant noodles are. When it says cookies are, does that mean only prepackaged, or ones I make at home? What if i make tofu at home, is that also ultraprocessed?
