I just feel like we shouldn’t have to tell the governor of Massachusetts that nominating her ex-girlfriend to the state’s highest court is a wildly unethical move?

Ugh. if you want a bestie to get a job the proper way is to double down on transparency and prove to all they are great for the job. Have a third party nominate. Recuse yourself. Chances are the bestie still gets it. But per the article she won’t say how this nomination came about etc. not good.
