Anti-Bernie Dems in 2016 and 2020 would always go like "oh exactly HOW will you do all this stuff" and to me that was never the point - I believed Bernie would keep pushing on every lever he could reach trying to get us to those goals and I didn't believe Clinton or Biden would.

I’m a Warren voter lefty and I think he should step down. I wonder if the true divide is between people who have been caregivers for elders with mild to moderate cognitive decline and those who haven’t.

The issue as is often the case is Democratic policy requires affirmative support of the law whereas Republicans can just wreck shit to win. For instance, if somebody gets illegally deported that's a fait accompli, if someone has student loans improperly waived those can reappear.

The antithesis of Biden governing, the reason we are in the mess we are in now. After the Senate silence, Obama should have invoked the "silence gives consent" legal maxim and sent Marshals to accompany Garland to take his seat on SCOTUS. So he's part of this too. Always a knife to a gunfight.
