YouTube now lets you choose the output orientation of a mobile stream.

Previously, you had to make sure 'auto-rotate' was enabled before you went live.

Main reason is because I want to keep the momentum from redebut with games I love and share them with a larger audience.

Agreed - I think there's a lot of reasons for it like being a socially awkward person. What helps me at least is to just go with the flow with my own boundaries in mind. Like I enjoy chatting in dms more than actual vtuber collabs. 😂

There's an interesting problem in digital preservation, which is that preservation only exists actively. Only the things you actively move to new formats, survives. Community is probably the same way: it has to be actively maintained in order to outlive whatever spot it's currently in.
