misplaced my wireless earbuds and have been using a wired set at the gym, and it's radicalizing me about the death of the headphone jack all over again you know what headphone jacKs have that usb-c dongles don't? A BUILT IN RETENTION SYSTEM SO THE TINIEST MOVEMENT DOESN'T KILL YOUR MFING TUNES

no problem though, I will just buy another pair of wireless headphones that sound worse than the countless cheap chifi headphones I already have, and which I will also surely lose within weeks hmm, might want to add joker makeup to my amazon cart while I'm at it

Next try having your entire work docking station setup, including the network connection, connected to your laptop via the two flimsiest usb-c connectors that only seem to plug in halfway at most.

I use a discontinued iPod Touch for tunes, which isn't great even though it has a headphone jack (it can take 5-10 seconds to start a track). If/when I get the failed hard drive in my iPod classic replaced I'll be golden again

This is interesting to me. I *constantly* got my headphone cables caught on things at the gym and it irritated the hell out of me. My AirPods havenโt ever fallen out of my ears at the gym either, but maybe Iโm an outlier there.
