This may shock you but Donald Trump and Joe Biden do not have identical foreign policies. Neither did George Bush and Al Gore. You may not think they mean much but they in fact do. In the end the difference between those policies computes thousands of people living or dead every 4 years.

Ok so how many votes do the people outside “the imperial core” have to influence who leads that “imperial core”? Maybe you think the whole world ought to be able to vote democratically to choose the president, but they don’t. So what then?
