she… seems to think there’s a cure for cancer? i was mostly offline today, but a cure for cancer certainly seems push notification worthy.

I mean… if someone asked me if I’d rather have COVID (I’ve had it once that I know of) or cancer I would definitely choose the virus I am vaccinated against and not the potentially fatal disease with painful, expensive and life-altering treatment that may not work but that’s just me I guess

There are cures for some cancers, and treatments for others that last a very long time, but there's never going to be "a" cure for cancer because it's an umbrella term like arthritis
