They just raised the age for the HPV vax! I plan to get it soon :) I am so glad there’s been a lot of advances in prevention and treatment. I hope they continue to figure out things about long COVID and that you at least get a bit of relief ❤️

Oh they’re both horrible. I think the woman I quote tweeted is paranoid to a degree that’s torpedoed her judgment. You generally want to avoid COVID AND cancer. This is why I get vaccines and wear sunscreen!

All diseases are gonna be pretty fucking bad for someone, we don’t really need to rank them. But I am scared of cancer myself bc the treatable ones still wreak havoc and quite a few — most? — still call for chemo which seems awful

I mean… if someone asked me if I’d rather have COVID (I’ve had it once that I know of) or cancer I would definitely choose the virus I am vaccinated against and not the potentially fatal disease with painful, expensive and life-altering treatment that may not work but that’s just me I guess
