I don’t know if it’s better or worse but they don’t even use Bruen’s framework to ban them. They just say the laws says “machine guns” are banned so a rule saying bump stocks is invalid under that law because it’s not a machine gun.

Now, now...you seem to be intimating that "originalism" is nothing but a fig leaf to cover result oriented decision and is simply cast aside when there's no 18th century history that can be cherry picked to support said result. Surely you don't believe our distinguished justices would do that! 🙄😉

I do feel like if someone was to like, do a seance, raise the dead etc to actually ask the founders the answer would usually be “you did *what* now???”
