I ❤️ this kind of feet-on-the-ground, speaking face-to-face with a local Mister or Ms. sort of reporting. I watched Charles Kuralt do this kind of thing for decades on CBS, and that's what got me hooked on journalism. (I've also had breakfast on several occasions at Cafe du Monde. Great stuff!) 😎

More of this. More of this! Bring out on a bike is so radically different from being airdropped into some diner in Akron. On a bike, you really meet people, you start to really interact with community in a deeper and more comprehensive way.
