Watching the 84-year-old Nancy Pelosi on CNN verbally stumbling her own way through defending Biden is a great reminder that this is a systemic problem.
We knew this was inevitable when Dems insisted the old white guy was the only option four years ago. It’s too effing late to fix now so can we just accept it, vote for him anyway because we don’t have much of a choice and hope he wins and then steps down on Jan 21st?
The Democrats are now the party of the managerial class, so it’s filled with people who see everything as “That could be me they’re trying to push out.”
this is such a blatantly ableist and ageist way to put it. Pelosi has essential tremor which impacts her speech, not cognition. And Biden is a stutterer / clutterer which also has no tie to cognitive ability.
if they didn't want a war between generations they shouldn't have started it but at this point logans run style retirement should be seriously considered for late stage politicians
I know Dems are in a panic, so here’s my best advice: join caravans of people going to purple states. Go door to door, selling your candidate. This offers you your best chance. Seriously, it could help.
She goes through points of time where she slurs her words & also goes into word salad now & then. This is actual evidence that people are panicking & trying piecemeal solutions to systemic problems.
