Nothing is stopping every single Democratic elected official and apparatchik from taking the airwaves every single day to articulately and decisively repeat a set of cogent talking points about Trump (ie 45). Nothing. Dem PACs could be slamming him with ads now. Stop whining and do that.

Network/cable news isn't about profit - hasn't been for a while. If it was, they'd be running 24/7 with "court docs reveal trump accused of raping children!" It's about helping the authoritarian project succeed by normalizing the worst ghouls and calming the public while the water slowly boils.

When I was a teenager, I organized a protest with a couple of friends after Michael Griffith was killed in Howard Beach. Almost no one showed up. I think we had 6 people [including us 3 organizers]. I was crushed. I cried to my dad & he asked: "what did you say to the three people who joined you?"

IMO, most importantly is that Biden use his powers now to protect the country. The fact that he didn't come out strong with a plan of action does not bode well. His statement after SCOTUS was weak and frankly terrifying.

Sorry but it’s extremely obvious to me that Biden must step aside and it seems increasingly clear he will do that, thank god. Initially I thought Whitmer would be the best replacement but I’ve been convinced Harris must be the nominee, along with a midwestern white heterosexual man as her VP.
