Is there a plausible explanation as to why protestors who lately have caused extensive property damage all over Los Angeles should have the right to be masked outdoors at protests? This is about masking at protests, or did I miss something?

There's a difference between wearing a surgical/N95/KN95 mask for health reasons vs swaddling your face with scarves, hoodies, caps & black sunglasses to hide your identity while you break the law. It's unfortunate this debate isn't differentiating the 2.
