You don't *need* to slam into the ceiling but I find that a lot of them can at full blast. Something with a wide range of pressures can be good A little force is nice, but no need to let it cause discomfort. More important is a *focused* stream of water that hits the target w/o splashing everywhere

We just walked out for the rest of the week as part of our fight for a fair contract at Gannett. We've got a lot of coworkers who are stretched pretty thin financially - it's a huge reason we're organizing. Anything you can contribute to take the sting out of walking out helps💖

I'm always surprised by people who aren't as Online as I am. My sister got me tickets to a local comic-con where he was appearing. It was an incredibly sweet gift that I really enjoyed but she was extremely confused about why I wasn't losing it for Shatner compared to some of the other guests

I do plan to be a little obnoxious about this, apologies in advance. But our shop is a big piece of Gannett. Raising wages at our website (and throwing support behind local papers that are also bargaining) helps raise the floor at the largest U.S. journalism corp, which affects the field as a whole
