I am a firm believer that you judge on actions, not imagined intent, and there is no way to judge the repeated NY Times insistence on quoting and amplifying (in the case of Claudine Gay, way past any journalistic interest) his accusations unless you agree with him and want to help

It really does undermine polling in general: the people polled, regardless of any other demographic quality, are the type of people who answer an unsolicited phone call. This does not describe anyone I know; we all understand answering an unsolicited phone call is like licking a public toilet.

Climate change death is totally avoidable, or at least mitigatable, even if we can't stop climate change any more, we can prepare for it. But to do that we need to get the do nothing establishment assholes out of power and put someone who gives a shit in their place.

Relying on things getting that bad, whether a tipping point happens or not..... people are going to die for that.... a lot. The discomfort is death and mass sufferinf. There might be no way around it. But you can totally try to save those lives by mounting an electoral assault in the meantime.

But poll after poll shows a split, like 50% between those liberals, and people who found themselves in the liberal bucket, now finding themselves not able to understand why Palestinians are being treated differently by their bucket mates. That's a lot of people becoming ready for radicalization.
